Biography
Lisa C. McNorton is a partner with McNORTON FOX, PLLC, and is a Certified Specialist in Family Law. Lisa is a past-President of the Arizona Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Law (AAML) and current secretary of the Chapter and is active with committees in the national AAML organization. Lisa is the Secretary of the State Bar of Arizona Family Law Executive Council and a former Chair of the Family Law Section of the Pima County Bar Association. She is the co-chair of Tucson’s annual Advanced Family Law seminar, and a routine presenter in Family Law CLE. As an advocate for continued education for family law attorneys, Lisa has assisted in trial colleges in both Pima and Maricopa Counties and co-chairs a mentoring program for family law attorneys aspiring to become specialized and Fellows of the AAML.
Lisa also serves as a Parenting Coordinator, Best Interests Attorney, Court Appointed Advisor and Judge Pro-Tempore with Pima County Superior Court. Recognizing the importance of giving back to the community, Lisa has been a consistent presenter at the Pima County “Court Night”, a bi-annual panel discussion on family law issues with community members and is a past board member for Therapeutic Riding of Tucson.
After obtaining her undergraduate in Philosophy (Honors) from the University of Texas – Austin, Lisa moved to Tucson and graduated from the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona in 1999. Since then, Tucson has remained Lisa’s home.
